Women's Suffrage Sash-"Votes For Women"

By pynkrshn, 5 February, 2015
Description

This sash is approx 48 inches in total length. It is approx. 4 inches wide. Color is yellow with a white stripe. Print is only on one side. Print reads "Votes For Women". The print is printed twice so when sash is worn, it can be read from the front and the back. I got this at an auction years ago here in Pa. I really don't have that much info on it. The pictures are the best description.

History
I bought this at a local auction here in Pa a few years ago. I paid $1 for the box lot. I do not know the name of the estate that was sold. I was not sure what it was so just packed it away. After my storage was full, I started going through items and found it and decided it was time to find out more about it.
