Winterling Bavaria demitasse coffee cup set of 6

By kda, 2 February, 2018
Description

6 Winterling Bavaria china demitasse coffee cups and saucers. Red, white and gold design with gold cup interiors. The gold interiors are somewhat tarnished.

I think they date from the 40's or 50's but I'm not really sure. They belonged to my grandmother.

Would love to know more about when they date from and how much they might be worth.

Re: Winterling Bavaria demitasse coffee cup set of 6

Hello Kda,

Here you have a beautiful tea set of the Deutsch manufacture “Winterling, Bavaria” I have never seen a set like yours before, it should be an uncommon one or even rare with this decoration.

I have searched the mark and found info at this link: https://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/bavaria/kirchenlamitz-01/index.php

From what I see your set could be dated to the early 1900’s, somewhere around the 1920’s/1930’s and if in perfect condition it should be worth, considering his rarity around $ 150/180, if you had the teapot, creamer and sugar pot as well the value could have jumped up to $ 250/280.

I hope that my personal opinion will helps you.

Have a nice day!
