wash basin and pitcher

By tara1245, 31 May, 2009
Description

This is a large pitcher and basin that belonged to my late grandmother. There are no markings but there is a matching smaller pitcher that has the marking ok rose 308 on the bottom. I believe this is called a wash basin set as there is a smaller pitcher and a covered soap dish that go with it.
I would love to know the age of this.

Re: wash basin and pitcher

Based on your images this set looks like a reproduction. Victorians were very big on company markings, this one looks fairly modern.

Re: wash basin and pitcher

By the way, do you know how much reproductions like this would sell for? All I know about the age is that it was bought second hand in 1950.

Re: wash basin and pitcher

Not much , there's huge numbers of them out there, many of them not even getting any bids on ebay, or selling for under $30.00.
