This looks very similar to china given away as premiums or sold at a discount at supermarket chains stores in the 1960's. They were a popular method of rewarding customer loyalty, generally they were displayed in the front section of the store where you could purchase individual pieces every week or purchase an entire service. values for such china is very modest, whole sets sell for under $100.00 at auction.

Thank you so much for the information but I'm a little confused. I remember the days when you could purchase dinnerware as you mentioned and remember the Golden Wheat pattern. On Replacements LTD website they list some of the items I have, for example: small bowls-$9.99 (5 1/2"), small plates-$7.99 (6 1/2"), large serving bowl-$43.99 (9 1/4"), and creamer-$19.99 each and that's where my confusion comes from. Why would the replacements be priced as they are and my set would only be worth less than $100.? Could it be we are talking about two different patterns?

I have a set of vogue hope chest fine china, including 12 place setting, creamer, sugar,coffee server, serving bowls, platters. Can you tell me a ball park estimate of the worth? In original box, never unpacked, or used. bought in 1958.
