Vintage/antique celadon & russet jade in snuff/scent bottle/Cloisonné.

By monarchybuger, 7 August, 2022
Description

Growing up with my late father who loved calligraphy and his collectibles, and as much as I could remembered seeing them the moment i was born. Over the years, whether I’m sad, crying, excited, happy, I could deeply remember each of their own distinct crafts, paintings as well as their shapes and sizes.

after my late father had passed away, I decided to relocate to a new home. As I was packing up the collectibles, i saw a small fragment and thought it was a broken piece from one of the jades. After years of slow studies and research, i am still not 100% sure the information were true or correct? What intrigues me the most, were sometimes I could see imagines of portrait people who i don’t know, like a baby, or drawings resembled to stone age and so on. I have taken some shots as a record and reference to my findings. I hope from those pics you could see what i saw or perhaps discover even more.  Cheers!

History
There were 2 things that kept bothering me in the past.
1) Did my late father received it as a gift for his wedding on 1973? If He got It for his wedding gift, it could possibly mean a reproduction around the 1970.

2) Was it passed down from our ancestors? My late father valued an object as an historical item than anything else. I am the opposite because I valued every object created as an art piece. So i believe if it was from ancestors it would had been around the Victorian period. I hope i can uncover the collectibles’ identity so at least I accomplished something meaningful in life to make them proud.
