Vintage Clover Leaf Table with Label

By BrooksAntiques, 13 January, 2018
Description

Vintage Clover Leaf Table   I would love to get an estimate of price, find out if anyone recognizes the label and tell me if it a Reproduction or an antique.  Measures 21 from a point on the top to a center of a leaf X 22 1/4 across two leaves and is 22" tall.  Three legs with claw feet and brass covers.  The base and legs are in excellent condtion the top of the table shows much wear.  I found one online that was identical until I looked closely and see that my Table Top is one solid piece of wood and the one online appears to be three pieces put together.  Other than that all the styling is identical   It has a small piece of a Gold, Green with Black Writing Label left on the underside.  May have been Triangle in shape.  If this is a Reproduction I feel it is an older one due to construction and mostly the label.

Re: Vintage Clover Leaf Table with Label

Tables like this tend to date from the turn of the 19th century through to the early 1930's. They were designed to resemble 18th to early 19th Century English Georgian examples, values vary depending on how close they follow the design of the originals and quality of construction, but most comparable tables go at auction for under $100.00.
