Very Old Copper Bowl?

Description

Was picked up at at an old barn cleanup. Is not magnetic.  Appears to be white copper.  12.7oz.  14.5cm high, 10.5cm wide.  Etchings around the top of the jug appears to be asian?. Is rounded at bottom as if it was used as a cap? Was covered with dirt.
