Teddy Roosevelt Embossed Block

Description

This item is approximately 4 1/2 inches X 3 inches X 1 inch in size.  It is in mint condition.  I really do not know what it is.  I found it on my grandparents property in Natchitoches, LA nearly 35 years ago.  

It is some kind of plate or imprint or maybe a dye.

I am not sure, it appear to be copper or some other metal.

The frontal and pomgadour images of President Theodore Roosevelt. There is also a rear image of his head.
