I found a Stag at Bay print behind a picture in an old frame I got years ago at a thrift shop. I saved the print but am now cleaning out and wondered if it had any value. I was planning to donate it.
I cannot make out the signature on the left but under that is printed Mackenzie Davis & Co. On the opposite side under the print is Pittsburgh Art Company. The edges of the white part around the print have some tears on the right and left and top but not the bottom. The print itself appears intact. the size of entire print or poster is 22" x 32", the picture is 18" x 27". I could find no date or # on it anywhere which led me to believe it was a reproduced poster.
would appreciate an information so I can either donate it or find the frame and reframe it.
