Portugese Candleabra with Crystals and Wooden Candles

By onetyger, 4 January, 2015
Description

There is a miniscule "made in Portugal" cast on the bottom but no other marks we could see even with magnifiers. These are very heavy (possibly brass). The candles are wooden and very realistic. We believe the crystals could possibly be genuine, though they haven't been cleaned. These stand approx 16"-18" tall.

The only history we know is that they must be at least 100 years old and my family acquired them in the Houston, TX area. They had been given as a gift many years ago to a relative by a wealthy family in that area. The candelabra were already antique by that time but I'm not sure how long the Houston area family owned them or the prior history.

We've owned them for close to 20 years now but they've only been lightly dusted and not properly cleaned.
