oil painting, du bois

Description

These are two impressionist oil paintings, purchased framed so I don't want to take the backs off. signature is Du Bois, signed in oils with contrasting colors as opposed to signed into the paint. Purchased at a charity auction in San Francisco. The only similar paintings I have found are Guy Pene Du Bois, but still not sure if these are the same even tho the sig is similar.

I have a similar painting, larger 28"x24" I checked Guy Pen Dubois has a different signature on his paintings. Looking for more info on just Du Bois. May I asked what you paid for your painting?
