Noritake and Wedgwood

By Cap_sig69, 21 February, 2015
Description

An elderly friend of mine without internet access asked if I could help her value the Noritake and Wedgwood her parents left for her.

I'm in Kansas City Missouri, my friend lives about 45 min out of town.

Thank you,

Craig

Re: Noritake and Wedgwood

Unfortunately, due to a number of contributing factors, the value of fine china, including Ocupied Japan Noritake and Wedgewood, has collapsed dramatically. Supply has exploded due to the death and downsizing of many Babyboomer households, and demand is practicaly nothing because fine china can't be dishwashed and often can't be microwaved either.

Retail prices can vary from $10-$50 a piece, but if selling to a dealer you'll likely have to accept a handful of dollars for the whole lot, if that. Keep it, treasure it, pass it down if you can, donate it to the needy if you can't. They're beautiful pieces and deserve to be used and loved.
