By Ds_22, 24 May, 2018
Description

The history of ownership of the thimble is unknown. The thimble was found in Pompeii, Italy in March 2005. It was found in a flattened state in a crevice on the ground amongst the ruins of the city. The finger hole is compressed (and has remained in this condition since it was found). The thimble is made of some sort of grey metal.
