Hand Carved White Jade Statue

I have a hand carved white jade statue. Its 8 inches tall. It has a few tiny little random xhips, but no major cracks or damage. My grandfather passed away & left me several pieces of oriental collectibles that he inherited from his father & step-mother (she had a fascination with Asian/oriental pieces.)

There aren't any unique marks or anything that appears to be the carvers signature or anything like that.

Date Period
It is alteast 20 years old, possibly older. My grandfather inherited it from his father & step-mother.
Weight
It weighs over 600 grams. I have a small jewelry scale at home & the statue weight exceeds my pocket scale's 600 gram max weight.
History
My grandfather inherited this hand carved white jade statue when his Father (my great-grandfather) passed away. The statue was acquired sometime between 1955-1965.
