Gorgeous Aurora Triple String Necklace

By Reenie. F, 31 January, 2018
Description

Hi Everyone, this is my first time here!
I am hoping for opinions on a piece given to me from a friend which belonged to her deceased mother. She estimates the piece to be from the 1930s/1940s.
Beautifully made with red various size Aurora beads, measurings 9inches at the longest tip, to box clasp. Attachments of strings to box clasp on each side is hand twisted wire. I am curious of the filligree pattern on the clasp, and the uniqueness of the box clasp clear stone. It reflects harliquine hues in different light, but in the very central facet when looked at directly, a beautiful turquoise, solid blue is seen.
The original box has gold embossing marked "Tiffany" with a gold embossed peacock? Character. On the reverse side of the gift box, the number "3" is visable, ahead of what appears to be another 3 numbers which are faded. Curious if this is a price or a serial number.
It comes with matching, gold stem pierced earrings.
Has anyone seen a similar piece before?... and if so, I would love some info on its origin and approximate value. Is it a Tiffany Art piece or a worthless, but beautiful costume piece?
Thanking you all in advance for uour critique!
P.S. It is in stunning condition and looks to be made with professional craftsmanship. Regards

Jewelry and Gemstones
Medium
Aurora Beads, clear thread line, very fine brass wire, handmade box clasp with claw clasps for clear centre crystal
Distinguishing marks
Turquiose, solid blue centre "eye" of harlequine crystal bead. I cannot see a hallmark, but there are a number of smithing tool marks on both the box clasp and the earring shafts and fixings which could actually be hallmarks. It is difficult to see clearly enough
