German and Austrian lidded beer steins-likely WW2 era

Left to me by my grandfather who fought in WW2. Some of the inscriptions on the bottoms include 'Original King 10', 'Original King 5', '1000 W', '1000 R', 'Germany', and '481 Made in Germany'.
I think the lids are pewter. Any information would help.
