Description
Very heavy cast iron ornate plant stand. High quality cast iron sculptured with symbols of french royalty. Cherubs, Fleur de lis and Rose of Sharon design fill the tiers. Scalloped edges and much detail. 29" high, top shelf 18" diameter, two side shelves are oval 11 1/2" x 10" and the bottom shelf is 13 3/4" x 11". There are no maker marks that I could find. Would like to know an estimate of value. I paid $60 at a yard sale. It was painted white and I stripped it, but couldn't keep the gold gilding on there. I primed it, painted black and then used gold gilding paint to come as close to the original look as I could. I may wish I had left it alone:)Thanks....
