Basicaly I want to sale these pieces because I moved into a SMALL apartment which there is no room for these pieces.  I have had them for about 10 years and am ready to sale them so I can buy a more modernized set that will fit into my apartment and more fit my taste of decor....$2000.00 OBO

Your set does not date from 1879, that's just the starting date of the company. Your set actually dates from the second quarter of the 2oth century, it looks older because it's in the Federal Revival Style. This is a very good quality suite, even at auction a comparable suite would go for over $1500.00.

  Thank you for the information you have provided for me.  I can now price the suite to sale.  Is it possible that you might know a buyer for my suite?  Or can you provide me with any information as to where to post my items for sale.?  Any information you can and or are willing to provide would be appreciated very much.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.
