Brass lamp engraved with flowers

By awasher01, 3 July, 2012
Description

This is a very heavy brass(I'm assuming) lamp without shade.  it looks to be dark with etching all over.  The etching contains flowers and various other designs, it seems to be done by hand because none of the designs are entirely symetrical and you can see it has been carved.  It turns on at the bottom with a small rotating switch.  When I look at the bottom it has the number 910 or 016 along with the name leviton on the plastic part under the base of the lamp.  It also yellow orange transparent wire with the AIW corp running down to the bottom of the plug.

This was gifted to me.  I have no info on it and have only found one other lamp on the internet that looks remotely like this lamp.
