on bottom it says, pairpoint mfg co, new bedford mass., quadruple plate. and the no.1710 stamped in the bottom. in the center of the writing theres a diamond shape with the right side point missing with a, t e l,(kinda) letters in the center of it. It has a mans face on the lid that flips up, and a womens face on the handle, her hair in a bun. it's very plain. no other designs or markings
