"Antique" SPIRITUS FRUMENTI uopened whisky bottle with box

Description

"Antique" SPIRITUS FRUMENTI 100 proof  brown whisky bottle.

Bottled at the Frankfort Distillery Bonded Warehouse #35, District of Ky.

Produced by John B. Thompson Distillery No. 63 , Kentucky

Made Spring 1913, Bottled Fall 1926

the bottle is brown with a spider web design, it is unopened with a metal cap and an undisturbed paper seal from shoulder to shoulder, the bottle is labled one pint and is 8" tall. At the present time the bottle is approximately 1/4 to 1/3 full.

All of the lables on the bottle are perfect.

Also have the box that it came in, also brown with images of barley or wheat. The box proclaims that the contents  are "AN ALCOHOLIC STIMULANT MADE FROM THE FERMENTED MASH OF GRAIN'.....'AGED IN WOOD".......NON REFILLABLE.....The top of the box is missing and is not as good of shape as the bottle.
