there is no wood , the base is made of some kind of heavy metal . i think its brass but my husband disagrees . these are part of his mothers who recently passed. he calls them rock but the tops are marble and fools gold. they were bought in Arkansas.
If it he metal was brass the metal would turn green in the bends. I talked to a friend and he works granite , he said thatthe small tables would valueat around$175.00 to$275.00 and the bigger one$300.00 to$400.00 i would not take any less.you would be better off selling thein the big cities such as New york,florida ,los angeles they hav fancy restaraunts that would us them i know your thinking they are not tables these kind of restaraunts have livingroom eating areas so they would look good

the value because right now all i see is the tops. i would like to know about wood too before
