Antique Carved (War Scene) Oriental Coffee Table with Two Side Tables

By Jenster923, 8 November, 2014
Description

We are in the process of clearing out our house and getting ready for a move.  This Oriental table has been in my family for generations, starting with my great grandmother.  I would love to know the value of these pieces.  They do not match my decor and I don't think my grandmothers would mind if I moved on.  There are three peices to this set.  The first is the coffee table.  It measures 45" L x 20" D x 18" H with a small drawer that is 7 1/4" wide.  After doing research, I have found similar, but this table does not have any screws.  There are only small looking "nails" going up the middle of the table underneath and on the bottom of the drawer.  The scene looks like it is in a city with a war horse running through.  There are also two side tables, these are red in color, the coffee table is black with wood.

Any information anyone could offer me would be greatly appreciated.  I would love to pass these along to someone that can truly enjoy the beauty, I just don't know where to begin.

Thank you in advance.

Jennifer
