1940's Catholic Sick Call/Exorcism Kit

By tcsavage3, 4 June, 2017
Description

I am not super knowledgablr about this item but know a little bit about it as it has been in my family for roughly 75 years. It belonged to my grandmother who was planning on becoming a nun before meeting my grandfather, and this was a gift to her from her mother which in turn would be my great grandmother. From the research I have done on my own I believe it to be from 1940 or 1941 by kriebel and bates. I have seen similar items but only with the famous Head of Christ picture by Warner Sallman. My item has a picture of Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus and also looks to me as a Sallman work but I cannot authenticate that. After researching i have found nothing at all identical to the one in my posession and have only the signature in the bottom left corner to go off of. It is NB in what seems to be a sideways diamond. Everything pictured is exactly how it was purchased and has never been removed from it's designated slots, everything is original and authentic. Please if anyone had any knowledge whatsoever regarding my item please please feel free to enlighten me! Thank you so much in advance and if more pictures or further details are needed please do not hesitate to ask.
