Accurate Description of Item
One Pitcher with Ornithological Decoration
Appraiser Remarks
Based on your images this appears to be more of a pitcher than a tea pot, depending on its size used for syrup of milk. The marking is unknown and there is a strong possibility it's an example of "White Ware", which means it was sold to a Decorating studio as an unglazed blank and handpainted by the studio. Many of these Studios taught pottery courses, the pieces sometimes signed by the students or artists that painted them. Pieces like this by unknown decorators tend to have modest values at under $100.00
Estimated Value
$30.00- $45.00
