Jackson painting of tall ship at sea.

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

I  am no expert, but this  appears to be an oil  painting of a tall  ship signed by "Jackson."  The frame shows some wear and the back of the canvas has several small tan blotches as can be seen on the photo below.

Antique Primavesi Plate

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

Antique plate by F. Primavesi & Sons possibly from mid 19th Century. It shows an oriental scenery in high detail as seen in the pic.

The back has a coat of arms and underneath it is "F. Primavesi & Sons, Swansea & London". Measures 15" x 12" and weighs about 3 lbs.

I'd like to know more about this plate such as when it was made, rarity, value, etc. Thanks.

I wanted to paint this desk red but everyone thinks I should have it appraised before I destroy a piece of history.  Is this desk worth more than I paid?  I got it at a yard sell for $15.00
