Bisque Doll Head Marked '79 10 Germany'

Category
Dolls and Plush Toys
Condition
Poor
Description

Hello,
I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me something about this doll. I am very curious about its age, its maker, what sort of person would have owned it, worth etc. She is about 3.5" tall. If I were to get a body for her, how tall should the body be?

It is marked 79 10 Germany
and has a mouth with darker lip accent lines, no teeth (the white is tissue), dots of pink in the nostrils and eye corners, heavy brows that almost meet, and pierced ears. The eye pictured is not original.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this
