It has a pull out sewing machine with four drawers and a pullout work station all in one structure. It has the thing to make the sewing machine go. it has a waranty and it was made in 1938. It is black and it weighs about 100 pounds.
Some surface scratches in the finish and the hardware is slightly pitted but the chest is still functioning very well (and smells terrific!) just some cosmetic problems that I wonder if it is worth restoring or has it lost its value? The hardware is removed , but I still have it.
This is my first time owning a cedar chest and am uncertain how to care for it. I am contemplating painting it if it does not affect the value.
This is a glass chandalier. It looks like the arms may be plastic. The metal hooks look to be very old. This could date it anywhere from 40 to 20 years old at a guess. It may be older...
