Haviland Porcelain Plate Circa 1890-1920?

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have pictures that hopefully will describe it better than I can. One thing is the patterern. It is continuous all the way around the dish. There are two markings on the back, one on top of the other. The top on says Haviland France and the one on the bottom say Decorated by Haviland & Co. Lemoges. Any help with this would be great. Good or bad news appriciated. Thank you.

Antique Eastlake Cottage Dresser

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This dresser is in the Eastlake style with handpainted floral decoration of each of the three front drawers. It has the circular dowel pin construction instead of dovetailing in the drawers. It has metal castor wheels. This is pretty much all I know about it. Someone had suggested to me that it may be a 1920's piece done in the Eastlake style but I think it may be older. Please help me date this piece and also what type of wood was used in this dresser, as I don't have a clue.

Porcelian vase from the St. Louis World's Fair 1904

Category
China
Condition
Fair
Description

My father got this but I don't know where or why. The vase has The Saint Louis World's Fair 1904 on it with a picture labeled as a USGovernment Building. I do know that at some point years ago, approx 60 years ago, some one afford my dad a very good price for it but my Dad declined.

My mother accidentally dropped some things on it and broke the back in several places. She glued it back together. It is not real noticeable but I am sure the damage greatly affects the price.

I have tried to find out more info on this for years. You would think that something as prominent as a World's Fair there would be all kinds of information about items from the fair.
