My husband and I received them from his mother.She and her husband bought out an auction company in the 50's in North Carolina and these were in the contents.They had them appraised in the 70's and were told that they were worth about 1000 each. They do tell a story,but I don't know what it means.

Carnival Glass Bowl

While watching Antique Road Show, a clear glass bowl like this one was presented for appraisal and the appraiser quoted about $3500 and stated that the colored ones were valued for even more. We are looking for an appraisal and possibly a buyer. This is a beautiful piece of history.
