SILVER CUP W/ LITTLE BO PEEP SAYING... AND PICTURE OF BO PEEP ENGRAVED ... BOTTOM OF CUP HAS WMROGERS&SONS WITH AN ANCHOR AND ROPE SYMBOL WITH THE NUMBERS 1142 ALSO WTIH AN S I IN SQUARES ON BOTTOM
It is a really great looking piece. I have not found another one like it anywhere. It meaasures approx. 3" in height and is hand painted in a lily? pattern. decorated all the way around. Marked on bottom with the blue Royal Bayreuth mark. It has kind of a "old ivory" feel, but have confirmed that it is not Royal Bayreuth old ivory. I would like to know if anybody knows what pattern this is and what the value might be. It is beautifully painted.
Does not have original upholstery, cannot tell if the wood has been refinished. Wood across top of back, down arms and legs. Has a fruit carving design.
These are the best pictures I could get....The dresser is in good condition, has some wear on the top, no scratches or damage to the wood at all....The knobs on the drawers have been replaced and the to handles on the doors are the originals, but one of them has broke off......There are a total of 9 drawers, 3 on each side and when you open the double doors there are 3 more drawers in the middle....I do not know what kind of wood it is made out of, but I do know that it is very very heavy, the mover guys estimated approx 400 lbs....
