Coach / Campaign Folding Table

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I found this table in my parent’s attic.

After doing some research, I think it is a Coach Folding Table -- used on stage coaches and carriages during rest and lunch stops.

It is also known as a Campaign Folding Table used in officers’ quarters on military campaigns

It appears to be in pretty good condition and still has the 2 original recessed hinge mounting brackets on top and latch underneath.

I am hoping you can give me additional information, including age, value, type of wood and any other tidbits.

Measurements:

  • Height:  27"
  • Length:  24"
  • Width:  19- 1/4"

Thanks in advance for your response.

1803 Ein Volles Glas Des Gastes Spass

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Mint
Description

1803 Ein Volles Glas Des Gastes Spass - meaning in German ...."When the glass is filled the guests are thrilled".

This is what I know of it.......... - This Stein was handed down to me and I was told it was from my grandfather and was given to him by his father. I took this to a dealer who told me that it's very special and unique due to the stamping on the bottom which most of them do not have. He was unsure what it meant or means or what it's even worth. He told me that the date stamp inside of the handle is when it was made which is 1803. He told me that it's handcrafted, hand painted, and also a unique design. He told me most of the steins by Gertz do not have a signature and a certain mark in which this one does. He offered $1000.00 but hes a collector with a pawn shop which indicates to me it's probably worth more than $1000.00.    This is all that I know of this matter and I do wish to sell it

Thailand 144 pc set

Category
Metalware
Condition
Good
Description

We would like to know who made this 144 piece flatware set and what year. We think it might be Johnny Gem made because of the style of the box and it says Thailand on the locks. The box is in fair condition same with the green lining. The Bronze? and wood flatware need to be polished but nothing broken and all pieces are there. I have seen similiar sets. These do not have any figure or markings on the bottom. Please let us know what you think an estimated value will be. Thank you

Pitcher & Juice Glasses

Category
Glass
Condition
Good
Description

We receive this set from my husband aunt in Louisiana. She has passed on, and I can't get any information about them. It is an overlay glass medium. I can't see any maker's mark.
Condition: The set is in great condition. There is what appears to be a stress fracture on the inside, from where the handle was applied on the outside. The pitcher weighs just under 3 lbs, measures 7.5" tall, 6.25" at its widest (from handle to outer edge of pitcher) 3.5" at the base. 6 glasses - each 1 weighs 6.5 oz, 4.25" tall , 2.5" rim diameter, 2" at the base
