Art from Japan or China travel

Category
Asian Art
Description

My grandparents were jewlers who lik3d to travel, when they passed amongst other things I revived these, I was told to get them appraised and insured if I could. My parents didn't have alot of info to give other than it was from traveling around, and it was from either Japan or China most likely gotten. In the 40's-60's. Pretty wide guess but that's what I have. They could be worth nothing to be honest but most most of what my grandparents had was quality and fancy. There's 2 pictures made of gemstones and a cabinet that appears to be hand painted. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

PH Leonard Handpainted Gold Gilded Center Bowl with Handles

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

What we believe we have is a PH Leonard Hand Painted Gold Gilded Center Bowl with Handles. Could be a center serving dish as well? There were also some markings on one side near rthe handles that were not on the other side of the bowl. Also the marking is faint that we could also be wrong as well. We are unsure of the age or worth and are trying to figure out what it is worth. We know the answers we cannot be used for insurance but just need an idea if its worth getting a real written appraisal. We hope the pictures will help.
