Appraiser Remarks
Silhouettes in North America tend to go through periods of popularity tied to historical event anniversaries, such the birth or death of historical figures such as Presidents, Generals, the Declaration of Independence and Civil War Battles. Most of the ones we encounter today date from the first quarter of the 20th Century, values for them depend a great deal on their provenance, subject matter and creator.

Examples by unknown makers tend to have rather modest values and would sell as Decorative Art in the $100.00- $150.00 range for the pair.
Estimated Value
$100.00- $150.00
