Victorian looking vases with dragon handles

Profile picture for user Lovejoy
By Lovejoy, 17 May, 2017
Accurate Description of Item
One Pair of Paris Porcelain Vases with Dragon Handles
Appraiser Remarks
Based on the images and lack of any markings these appear to be "Paris Porcelain" . The term refers to Porcelain made by a great number of potteries in Paris, France during the mid 1800's that were producing porcelain in the style of the famous Serves Porcelain works. Very little of it carries any markings to identify a maker, some of it was actually purchased as undecorated blanks by pottery studios that would then decorated it for resale.

porcelain of this type was made in very largew numbers, so it is not considered rare. Values for it depend a great deal on the quality of construction and current condition.
Estimated Value
$300.00- $500.00
