Accurate Description of Item
One Dresden Figural Group of a Man and Woman
Appraiser Remarks
Pieces like this are often referred by the generic term ā€œ Dresdenā€, after the German famous city which was home to several potteries and decorator studios, most producing pieces in the style of Meissen. The city was totally destroyed, along with its pottery industry when it was fire bombed in World War Two. We have no listing for this marking, but based on the images the piece dates from the last quarter of the 19th century (1875-1900)
Estimated Value
$150.00- $200.00
