Our records indicate that Platte Valley is said to have been in production for 25 years according to various reports, so your jug is not an antique. The Jug was made for them is made by McCormick Distilling Company (founded in 1856 as Holladay Distillery by Ben Holladay) It continued to produce whiskey under different names and owners even through Prohibition as medicine only! The McCormick name was actually purchased from another distillery and persists through the modern era. It's still in the original location owned by partners Ed Pechar and Mike Griessar.
