Accurate Description of Item
Your cabinet is English and dates from the first quarter of the 20th Century. Many of these were imported by the container load in the 1980's by American Antique wholesalers and sold at auction to Antique dealers looking to fill out their stock of American pieces. Values for them today run in the $450.00- $800.00 range.

C. W. S. LTD Cabinet Factory was once part of the Victorian factory complexes of the Co- Operative Wholesale Society in Pelaw. The companies manufactured everything for the home including; textiles, furniture, household cleaning products, pharmaceuticals, quilts, books, magazines, clothing and even shoe polish. Beginning in the mid 1970’s through the 1990’s the majority of the factories were closed and demolished.
