Water Pitcher and Bowl

Description

 I do not know much about this piece. A woman said that there are lines in the glass that indicate that the glass is really old. I dont know anything about it really. I am going to be visiting a few different appraisers that will be able to give me prices for the piece. I dont even know if it worth anything at all. Just curious.

Are you sure this is glass? it looks like Villeroy and Boch pottery.
