Description

VINTAGE THOMAS EDISON LITTLE FOLKS MAPLE DRESSER AND TOY BOX FURNITURE.

These are very RARE pieces of furniture. High quality. Thomas Edison Little Folks Maple Dresser and solid wood toy box would be an amazing addition to any stylish nursery. It is well-crafted, sturdy and could withstand everyday use for a child well into toddler years. It is made of blonde maple wood in the Art Deco Style and has 5 drawers and one large toy box. The dresser comes on casters and is easy to move. The Toy Box comes with hinges to keep top open. The pieces are in very good condition and only has minor wear and tear that would be expected on an antique. The top of both pieces may need to be refurnish, its up to the individual. The wood is maple and each drawer is solid and inside is in very good condition . The toy box inside is also in very good condition. Please take a look at all the pics and ask questions. This is a vintage and original Edison Little Folks piece. c. late 1950's. This is the original finish and there has been no restoration. Overall very good condition. I only wiped it down quickly. I made no attempt to clean extensively. You can see some soiling, and some deeper darkening from age and years of use and oxidation to the finish. There is some edge and corner wear, but the integrity of the piece is solid. It is available for local pick up only. This piece was built by Thomas Edison Little Folks Furniture Co. in New London, WI. and is approximately 50+ years old. Measurements are as follows: overall: height 44" width 30" depth 15 1/4" drawers: height 7 1/4" width 25 1/2" depth 6" deep toy box: length 32" width 17" depth 17"
