Vintage Brass/etched glass lantern fixture, ornate

By Mcsquared0729, 27 July, 2023
Description

I have two lanterns/ceiling fixtures that came from the same house. They were sitting in a box alongside the road with a brass plate and two brass with foil lined type art. Someone was throwing them away. I know the houses in that neighborhood date to the 50's. The smaller one has all four pieces of glass. The larger one has one pane missing.
The small one has PAT Pend GIM 645 M.C and a copyright mark along the inside spine of each pane. The larger one states made in spain.

History
I honestly do not have much information on these. I have searched images until I am exhausted. I have found similar ones, but not the exact ones. We found these on the side of the road in front of a house that was built in the 1950's. There was a brass plate and then two smaller plates with a foil picture in the center. The small one has all four pieces of glass and the larger one is missing one pane. I do not know if they work as they are wired fixtures. They both have the ceiling mount covers. The large one says made in spain, the smaller one has an imprint along the interior on all four splines that say Pat Pend GIM 645 and the copyright symbol. They appear to be made of brass.
