I have seen this bowl for sale on Ebay for $750 US

Hello, the Honfleur pattern bowl has been copied by the Czech glassmakers. this is one of those. The obvious mold seam and the fact that it is unsigned guarantee that it is not genuine Lalique.

Thanks for answering my question. I think I have just
learnt my first lesson. I bought the bowl from an
antique dealer who told me it was unsigned but definitely
Lalique and even gave me a receipt for a Lalique bowl.
When you mention the seam - where is the seam. Just so
that I know what to look out for in the future. Is it
the ridge about half way down around the rim of the flower section.

Hello, you can see the seam running around the entire circumference of the bowl. It is a faint line in the glass, which shows where the mold was joined together. Lalique has all mold seams polished out at the factory, or includes them in the design to minimize them.

This is a question regarding signatures. I've seen some that look stamped, some that are in script, I see ads for acid etched I think is what they say and I've seen some that say it comes with the original papersticker, which I immediately mistrust. Are there fake signatures out there as well? How does this fake glass get into the country, who buys it? I know I got taken really bad on not one, not two, but three pieces of what I thought was LCTiffany and it cost me a fortune, I thought the stuff was real, it was extremely good quality, I've seen some of the faked Tiffany and was always able to tell, but this stuff was absolutely stunning. I just don't know how we are supposed to tell by pictures, if buying on Ebay for instance. Any hints would be greatly appreciated and I am very interested regarding Lalique signatures. Thanks for anything you can share.

If you have a receipt that states the piece is Tiffany or Lalique then you have the law behind you. Selling pieces as genuine that are fake is fraud.
I would suggest that if you are going to buy such things find a dealer that specializes in Lalique who has a reputation to protect rather than buy off ebay. As for signatures, it's a learning experince, there is only so much you can get from books, here's a link for you:
