History
I won this prize on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2005 or 6. The theme of the show that day was antiques, and she had a representative from Antiques Road Show as a guest. Each member of the audience received a gift, and several of them were actually valuable. This vase was appraised at around $1,000. Since then, the piece was damaged slightly on the spot where the glaze is damaged -- I had the vase sitting next to a potted plant and it apparently absorbed moisture causing this damage.
