Re: Sheet music The Star-Spangled Banner

Circa - 1890- 1905    The Emerson Drug company began in 1888 in Baltimore MD. And the granuals were mixed with water before ingestion.  There was a book called The Great American Fraud published in 1905 has indcated much advertising such as your piece were fraudulent in nature and made false claims.

Its nice to see you have this piece of Epherma protected. Its too bad the edges have been damaged so bad. Many paper pieces of history and age are very yellowed. There are actually many copies of this piece / or similar in pdf format online.

One is located here.https://library.duke.edu/digitalcollections/hasm_a2461

As I have delt with epherma myself I know its very difficult to sell but more valuable in historical significance. I would recommend you buy a few old period Bromo bottles (sometime $1-2 a piece) of which can be added to create a collection and add percieved value.

Value est : $1 - $2 based on condition and availability. Historical value : Very Cool
