Sewing Machine

By ski2525, 26 April, 2009
Description

This is a 1917 Franklin sewing machine with cabinet. The cabinet has never been restored and does have a little wear on it. The sewing machine itself is in perfect shape and working order. This is not an electric sewing machine. It has a castiron pedal that works the machine. When you place your feet on the pedal that is the width of the cabinet. You pump your feet up and back and this motion causes a cable to turn the sewing machine and causes the needle to go up and down. I know that these machines was 2nd to only the singer sewing machines.
