SEVRES CIRCA 1764 ????

Description

THIS IS A PAIR OF VASES OR URNS IM NOT 100% SURE THEY THE SAME BUT DIFFERANT IN SLIGHT WAYS  THEY ARE APPROX 14-15 INCHES TALL 8-10 INCHES WIDE THEY BOTH HAVE TWO PAINTINGS ONE ON EACH SIDE THEY ARE A MIRROR IMAGE OF ONE ANOTHER [ONES PAINTED REVERSE TO THE OTHER AS FAR AS DIRECTION]  ON THE UNDERSIDE IS A LIGHT BLUE MARKING THAT IVE RECENTLY LEARNERD WAS THE "SEVRES" MARK THE DOUBLE L THE LETTER INSIDE THE DOUBLE L IS CLEARLY A "L" WICH I HAVE ALSO LEARNED MEANT 1764. I BOUGHT THESE AT AN ESTATE SALE INTHE BEVERLY HILLS AREA IM INTERESTED IN SELLING THEM AS WELL

This kind of quality piece is from the 1940's to early 1950's.  Most of the ones you see have a spurious or fake sevres mark.  Real Sevres is of the highest quality, and they never made a piece which is as poorly done as this one is.  Sevres is the most faked of marks, some of the fake pieces reach high prices but only if the quality is much better than this one is.
