Sea shell handcarved Lamps

These 2 beautiful handcarved sea shell Lamps with (brass or silver foot) are my mothers collection and I know they have been in their house before I was born. I am 50 y old:). They are 8,5 inches high and in excellent condition. Need an appraisal and help to sell them.I dont know where they are from and who carved them.

History
Been in my parents belongings way back in time as long as I remember.They are 2 very Beautiful Lamps and the motives are of ancient roman design carved in the Shell.My grandmother travelled alot and she might have bought them in Europé. I dont know.Im having them appraised here at this site and waiting for their reply.
