Satsuma Tea Set Pattern Mystery

Description

I have this  tea set that I need info on. Reads...." Satsuma Ware Craftsman China 393 Made in Japan" 

It has a matte finish and a Geisha Pattern. 

I can't find referance to the mark on the bottom, is it an original or repro?
