Description
This is an interesting little bottle because it won't stand up! I'm assuming perhaps the lid, which I don't have, might have been the 'base' of this item or something. It does have thread marks for where a lid would go. The overall pattern is a sort of diamond cut I guess you would call it. It's really pretty, catches the light well.
Re: 'rollover' perfume? bottle
This looks like the stopper to a decantor. The threads, as you call them, look like raised edges that may have had a cork or plastic piece that wrapped around them to insert into a decantor. Threads usually wrap around in a spiral form but this looks to be straight across not spiral like to screw down. That's why it doesn't stand up...it's the stopper to something. That's my guess.I collect perfume bottles and have seen many items similar to that.
