RARE VINTAGE COMPLETE DREXEL 11 PIECE FORMAL DINING-ROOM SET

Profile picture for user NATIVE OF LACA
By NATIVE OF LACA, 8 August, 2015
Description

An 11 piece solid Walnut and Burlwood formal Dining-Room set made by DREXEL in the USA in North Carolina. Highly prestigious, elegant and contemporary. Among my numerous other furnishings to offer, I currently have this 11 piece complete formal Dining-Room set made by DREXEL, which makes a statement in itself. DREXEL is one of the finest furniture manufactures in the world. It's made of genuine SOLID WALNUT combined with genuine BURLWOOD and it's very solid, heavy, shining and gleaming just as it did in 1963 (Kennedy was President) when we purchased it brand new. The style is a very prestigious Contemporary Mediterranean and the double expandable table is designed to easily accommodate large formal diner parties or to keep it intimately sized as a small round table just for two. This 11 piece set already includes seating for 6 persons with 4 standard armless chairs plus 2 matching armed chairs. The main dining table is expandable twice as it comes with 2 extra-wide table extension leafs for very large dinner parties. Also included is the Buffet on wheels which in itself has one large open storage/display area in addition to one drawer and 2 shelved storage areas behind closed doors. PLUS there's the ultimate separate long (NOT tall), VERY elegant China Cabinet-Credenza with its own 5 storage areas elegantly concealed behind closed doors. This is all a part of this rare and remarkable vintage formal Dining-Room set meticulously made by DREXEL. ALSO included are the custom fitted table top protector pads.
